Have you ever found yourself waiting for clarity before moving forward?
I think many of us do.
We want the full plan. The complete roadmap. The confidence that everything will work out exactly as we hope. But more often than not, life doesn’t work that way.
In my experience, God rarely shows us every step ahead. Instead, He invites us to trust Him with the next one.
That can be frustrating, especially for those of us who like to plan, prepare, and know where we’re headed. We want certainty. God often asks for faith.
I’ve learned that some of the most meaningful changes in my life did not begin with a giant leap. They began with one conversation, one decision, one prayer, one act of obedience.
Small steps may not feel significant in the moment, but they have a way of shaping our future more than we realize.
We often underestimate what God can do through consistent faithfulness.
The next best step might be making the phone call you’ve been avoiding.
It might be having an honest conversation.
It might be setting a boundary.
It might be choosing forgiveness.
It might simply be trusting God enough to move forward, even when you cannot see the entire path.
Too many people stay stuck because they are waiting for perfect clarity. But faith has never been about seeing the whole journey. It has always been about trusting God enough to take the next step.
You do not have to have everything figured out today.
You only need enough faith for the step right in front of you.
And sometimes, that small step becomes the beginning of something far greater than you ever imagined.
